Why we love this

Seen first at One Kings Lane: This original landscape from Anne Strickland demonstrates an extraordinary understanding of color and light. Painted on canvas, this unframed piece arrives ready to hang. Influenced by her mother, who was also an artist, Anne Strickland grew up in an artistic environment where southern landscapes and rich seasons fed her imagination and love of color. Strickland’s work reveals a strong influence in Russian impressionism along with a hint of expressionistic style. She received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Masters of Arts in History from the University of Georgia, and a Masters of Psychology from Emory University. She is a member of Atlanta Artist Collective.
