19th-century English étagère made from rosewood. The top is decorated with finials and a lovely scalloped gallery following down to three shelves, separated by hand-turned barley twist shelf supports. The third shelf has a drawer below. The piece is supported on nice high-turned feet with what appear to be the original hand-cast brass casters. Age wear, shrinkage.
