Why we love this
1950s Austria gold-plated circular brooch. The hand-crafted three-dimensional domed design offers a dizzying array of specialty stones & vivid crystals: at the peak is a cabochon of variegated art glass w/ opalescent swirls suffused w/ gold & black, ringed by peridot crystals & glass pearls; next, a circle of round emerald crystals, then small art glass cabochons, mirrored marquise amethyst stones & diamond-cut olivine stones w/ a few glass pearls & peridot crystals. Signed "Made in Austria".
