Why we love this
Magical scene captures the energy and atmosphere of Parisians enjoying a stroll in Montartre (Mount of the Martyr) by Maurice Legendre, a noted French painter and sculptor. Legendre is especially known for his Parisian and London landmark scenes. He was a pupil of Robert Couturier and Marcel Grimond. In 1954, Legendre won the Blumenthal prize and in 1965 he was awarded the Brantôme prize for sculpture.
