Since 1994, Pierre and Cathy Négrel have been traveling to France in search of antique furniture and accents for our Austin, Texas store. We select each piece with an eye toward quality and distinctiveness. Négrel Antiques provides a magnificent selection of 18th- and 19th-century buffets, bookcases, and armoires, French farm tables, Carpenter's workbenches, Provençal commodes, Louis Philippe mirrors, Art Deco armchairs, Louis XVI chests and an eclectic mix of lighting.
Why we love this
Pair of 1940s French Napoleon III-style armchairs upholstered in anise green fabric with apron fringes. Overstuffed square backs and low, fully upholstered and stuffed arms, and wide seats. Supported on ebonized pear wood feet. Seats: 17"H. Please note there is a slight difference in height: 33"L x 29"H x 31.50"H; 33"L x 29"W x 32.5"H. Minor marks and flaws on back of one and on front of the other.
