1950s Austrian gold-plated art glass and crystal brooch. The wildly three-dimensional arching design was created entirely by hand, with a hand-soldered framework presenting a sumptuous symphony of prong-set specialty art glass stones and crystals: enormous carved satin glass teardrops in an opalescent hue; emerald and peridot marquise crystals; jade satin glass cabochon navettes; and pale green aurora borealis pear-cut crystals. Impeccable condition throughout.
