Framed "Black Ibis and Sacred Ibis" print by Jacques Barraband, "Studies of Birds," from "Description de l'Egypte Histoire Naturelle," engravings, printed in color and finished by hand. Published in Paris, 1809. Barraband is considered one of the greatest French zoological and botanical artists. Image: 27"L x 19"H. Framed in 1 3/4" hand-finished molding with black and gold-leaf finish and a three-inch wide acid-free gray mat.
