Why we love this
Choix de Fleurs. Etching restrike of a watercolor by French-Belgian artist Jean-Pierre Redouté, one of the most famous botanical artists of the 18th century. Splendidly printed on French art paper by the Paris Etching Society in the early 1950s. Redouté was the court artist for Marie Antoinette and was nicknamed "The Raphael of Flowers." He represents a high point in botanical art. Image size: 19 x 14.25 inches; Sheet size: 25 X17.75 inches.
