French Louis XVI-style wall mirror dating from the middle of the 19th century. The frame is plaster consistent with Louis XVI construction and was originally gilded, the original gilded surface is covered with a pleasingly worn overcoat of white giving it an overall spectacular patina. The mirror glass is original and has overall crazing; measures 12.5" square. Found in Paris. Minor damage on the plaster frame.
