A large Indian hand carved wooden bonnet top window balcony with rod motifs and foliage. Found in Indonesia, this window balcony is adorned with a bonnet top sitting above a succession of rods. The piece presents two window panels, accented in their upper section with shields surrounded by foliage. The rods are backed with wooden panels. The balcony finds its conclusion in the lower protruding serpentine section carved in low-relief with scrolling foliage and monogram, flanked with finials.
