19th to early 1900s 4-panel Chinese Screen depicts a battle between Chinese and Mongol warriors.Gouache and watercolor on paper. Quality of artwork is superb, very detailed. Brocade border,lacquered black wood frame with original metal hardware showing dark age patina. Beautiful paper on back. Good condition for age: water damage, stains, separation between 2nd and 3rd panels, on 1st and 3rd hinges, which won't show when the piece is hanged on the wall.Sturdy. China, 19th century to early 1900s.
