Why we love this

Seen first at One Kings Lane: This original work from Wendy Doak enlivens any wall with bold, vivid color. Painted on canvas, this piece is unframed and arrives ready to hang.

Wendy Doak paints everything from still lifes to seascapes, and her style changes from Impressionist to abstract depending on her mood. Her love for painting began in high school and continued into her university studies, where she majored in Studio Art at Washington and Lee University. Wendy worked in a number of Baltimore art galleries and taught high school art for years. She now lives and paints full time from her home studio in Baltimore, with her husband and two kids. Wendy is a member of Capital Artist Collective.
