Antique hand-painted wedding trousseau box with German wording on top. Purchased from a prominent estate in Amsterdam. Translates roughly to "my heart you land in your dear hand". Made circa 1820. It is in good antique condition, by nature these bentwood boxes are fragile. Some age wear with a small chip on the lid.
