Photogravure by German photographer and teacher Karl Blossfeldt (1865-1932) from his seminal early-20th-century book of monographs "Urformen der Kunst." Blossfeldt constructed his own cameras to magnify his subject 30x to craft compositions. N 102 of serratula nudicaulis, bare-stemmed common saw-wort, seeds, enlarged 4 times. First limited edition. Excellent condition; never framed.
