Sterling Silver English Caddy Spoon

A late 19th century English sterling silver caddy spoon in the form of a dust pan. Spoons of this style were used to scoop bulk tea from a canister of caddy, hence the name. In the victorian period is was popular to make these spoons as miniature representations of larger items. This one has a very ornate handle and engraving on its sides. There are hallmarks on the scoop. It is in very good condition with only minor usage wear (see photos).
