White-Glove Delivery
A pair of French cast iron urns in the classic Louis XVI style with the ruffeled top and lion's head decoration. They were made in the mid 19th century when this style was revived in the Napoleon III period. They are in an exceptional state of preservation retaining old and probably original rouge and green paint which is heavily oxidized indicating a life in the garden rather than the salon. They were purchased from a garden in Paris.
