Mid-century French carafe at the Pernes antique market in the heart of Provence. Constructed of heavy glass bearing the logo of "Casanis" Anisette, a leading brand of the anise liqueur known as Pastis the traditional aperitif in the south of France. Very versatile; use for mixers at your home bar, for water at the bedside, for juice on the breakfast table, or as a unique vase. Very good condition with strong graphics and minimal wear.
Captivated by decorative flourishes discovered while wheeling their toddlers’ strollers through European villages, architect Karen Dunning and husband Lee founded Chez Vous in 1996 to bring a bit of that aesthetic to American homes. Handpicked offerings range from fun and funky to lovely and semi-precious. Chez Vous definitely doesn’t take itself too seriously. This down-to-earth approach to hunting and gathering decorative treasures results in incredible finds at incredible prices.
