A multi-figural, Post-Impressionist piece depicting a baseball player by the name of "Gibson" pitching a ball. Signed lower right "Warren Lamm" for Warren Edgar Lamm (American, 1937-2017) and dated 1971. This artist and illustrator first studied at the Chouinard Art Institute (1958). A member of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Lamm was also the recipient of numerous Emmys, New York Art Directors Guild awards, Broadcast Design Association and Society of Illustrators awards.
