Signed, 'G. Pisani' for Gianni Pisani (Italian, b. 1935), titled verso 'Paesaggio con Valigia' and dated 1963. Exhibited: Michetti Premier Painting Prize, Naples, Italy 1963 (label verso). A large oil comprising a view of assembled bags in Fendi's signature colors contrasted against a dramatic coral skyline. Pisani studied at the Accademia de Bella Arti in Naples and exhibited with success, including in Egypt, Germany, Italy and America. He is well listed in Benezit's Dictionary of Artists.
