A substantial oil showing two gaily-painted fishing boats beneath an old wooden pier with amusement park rides, beneath a light-suffused, sunset sky. Signed lower left, "Canete", for Robert Canete, (American, b. 1948) and painted circa 2000. This Carmel, California artist studied with Vincent Rascon in the 1960's and later with Dwight Miller at Stanford.
