Jen Garrido is a California artist through and through. Born in Los Angeles, she received her BFA in painting from Sonoma State University and MFA from Mills College in Oakland. Now a working artist, she draws from organic, biomorphic forms, often playing formal compositions against more natural rhythms in her work. Her paintings have been exhibited widely at venues in her home state and around the U.S., including the Artists Gallery at the San Francisco MoMA.
