Jen Garrido is a California artist through and through. Born in Los Angeles, she received her BFA in painting from Sonoma State University and MFA from Mills College in Oakland. Now a working artist, she draws from organic, biomorphic forms, often playing formal compositions against more natural rhythms in her work. Her paintings have been exhibited widely at venues in her home state and around the U.S., including the Artists Gallery at the San Francisco MoMA.
Why we love this

Seen first at One Kings Lane: This abstraction from Jen Garrido brings an impressive sense of movement to your wall with its flowing lines in blues against a neutral ground. Printed on watercolor paper with deckled edges and floated over a white mat, this piece is beautifully framed and arrives ready to hang.
