The Paris Apartment
Flapper print in mirrored frame with kickstand back. Paris, circa 1940.
Claudia Strasser, founder of The Paris Apartment, began her career in 1993 when she opened a boutique in Manhattan’s East Village. In contrast to the stark neighborhood, it was filled with French boudoir furniture, accessories, and flea market finds that she reincarnated into sparkling treasures. In 1995, she collaborated with publisher Judith Regan on The Paris Apartment: Romantic Decor on a Flea Market Budget. Today, among myriad romantic, luxurious design missions, Claudia travels to Paris, taking small groups shopping and sharing her resources.
