As described by McNaught Fine Art

A charming and fresh American School watercolor showing a view of old Hana in the 1960s with Kim's Grocery Store standing amid lush foliage and tropical trees. Painting onto wet paper with a soft and harmonious palette, the artist has composed a luminous and lyrical view of this old Hawaii landmark. Inscribed on verso, "Kim's Groceries, Hana, 1968." Unframed.

About the Seller

McNaught Fine Art

A 1986 graduate of Christie's Fine Arts of London, I headed the fine art department of a West Coast auction house for three years before opening my own gallery in 1989. Every painting I represent is selected with care. I believe fine art to be an integral part of the fully-lived life, illuminating both our vision and our values for our children. As time passes, our paintings become heirlooms, enriched with our shared memories. Many things come and go. Art abides. —Anthony McNaught
