As described by Early California Antiques

Horse and Jockey/em>, by Joseph L Deitch, an illustrator and commercial artist active from the 1930s-50s. He illustrated men’s clothing for Filene’s and other stores in NYC and worked on War Bonds campaigns. Deitch was was thought to have studied at the Art Institute in San Francisco, 1910-11. This piece has now been framed and matted. Black acid free matt with 1/2 inch black matt frame.
