Serigraph on paper signed and dated in pencil "Vasarely" from a limited edition of 130/275. Victor Vasarely (Hungarian/French, 1907-1997) was internationally recognized as one of the most important artists of the 20th century. He was the acknowledged leader of the Op Art movement, and his innovations in color and optical illusion had a strong influence on many modern artists. The Vasarely Museum in Budapest is dedicated to his works and his pieces are shown in other museums worldwide.
