Charming portrait of a young girl by George Henry Hall (American, 1825-1913). Signed lower right "Geo Henry Hall, Roma 1902." The subject matter of Hall's figure paintings was inspired by his studio in Rome. After 1870, he exhibited regularly at the National Academy of Design in New York, the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts 1853-1868, and the Royal British Academy. Image, 24.5"H x 17.5"W.
