Wonderful Impressionistic sunset scene of Venice by listed American artist George Henry Bogert (1864-1944). Bogert won numerous awards including the Exposition Universelle de Paris in 1900. His work is displayed in The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The National Gallery, and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, among many others. Oil on artist board. Unframed. Signed "George H. Bogert" lower left. Matted with archival mat and mounted in a beautiful giltwood frame under glass.
