As described by
A fabulous blue mixed media piece by William Fredricksen (1914-2010) from Norway. Fredricksen studied at the New Bauhaus School at the Chicago Institute of Design in 1946 with such Bauhaus masters as Lazlo Moholy-Nagy and Alexander Archipenko. As Art Digest put it in 1949, "Fredericksen's appeal is based half on a rich color sense, half on a highly developed sense of design." Signed "William Fredricksen, 1984" and displayed in a giltwood frame.
