As described by
The superb glass-blowing skill of Finnish artist Oiva Toikka is clearly shown in this piece called the White Ptarmigan. Handmade in the famous glassworks of Nuutajarvi, Finland, this example shows a body with a soft mottled coat of whites and grays while the head and beak are made of clear glass. It is acid etch signed on the base and retains its litala sticker on the body. No chips or cracks. A superb early example from the 70s.
