As described by Billy Blue Eye

Fine ceramics from two of England's pottery companies, Shorter Sons and Beswick. A Staffordshire hand-painted leaf plate from Shorter, late 1930s, is incised with leaf veins and a stem. An exotic flower with red and black petals and stamen is embossed as if it has dropped from its plant onto the leaf. 1938 hand-painted Pansy pin dish, 4.5"L x 4"H, designed by Mr. White for Beswick Pottery, Stoke-on-Trent (Est. 1892). Both items are bottom marked with the Company Stamp.
