As described by Billy Blue Eye

Frankoma Pottery (Est. 1933) of Sapulpa, OK, used only local clay to make utilitarian ceramic pieces for 78 years until its May 2011 closure and final auction of goods. Frankoma established a household name by selling its familiar green tableware and wagon-wheel pitchers at the Piggly-Wiggly and other local grocers. 1970s chalice vase is footed with a pedestal base. Finished in the Prairie Green glaze, incised "Frankoma 52."
