As described by Billy Blue Eye

Niloak was made from 1909 until 1946 by the Eagle Pottery Co. The name “Niloak” is the word “kaolin” spelled backward. Kaolin is a type of fine-grade clay found locally and used in production. Limited 1940s production of the Hywood line included this "Winged Victory" vase designed by Joe Alley and a ribbed bowl both in a periwinkle blue glaze, bottom marked with the Niloak name. Bowl, 3.5"H x 7"Dia.
