Why We Love This

Niloak was created in Benton, AR from 1909 until 1946 by the Eagle Pottery Co. The name “Niloak” is the word “kaolin” spelled backward. Kaolin is a type of fine-grade clay found locally and used in production. Diamond-shaped embossed pitcher designed by Joe Alley in the 1930s, part of the "Bouquet" Dinnerware collection. The embossment is a series of over-lapping floral medallions. This example in unmarked but is well documented in Niloak Resource books.
