As described by Billy Blue Eye

Niloak was created in Benton, AR from 1909 until 1946 by the Eagle Pottery Co. The name “Niloak” is the word “kaolin” spelled backward. Kaolin is a type of fine-grade clay found locally and used in production. Limited 1940s production of the Hywood line included this "Winged Victory" vase designed by Joe Alley in support of the war effort. Thin blue glaze allows much of the natural clay color to show through. Bottom marked with the Niloak embossed name.
