Why We Love This

Weil of California was begun in 1945 by Max Weil a former Gladding, McBean employee. When GMB's Catalina line was discontinued, Weil bought some of the old molds and produced his own artware. Although the shapes were the same Weil gave each release his own look. This petal vase was produced from 1945 to 1947 and glazed in an unusual combination of chartreuse on the exterior and peachy-pink on the interior. It is bottom stamped "Weil Ware Made in California."
