As described by Billy Blue Eye

Haeger Pottery was founded in 1852 and continues to produce collectible art pottery today. 1960s pitcher wrapped in a cinched sack and tied off with a looped bow that serves as a handle. It is finished in a wonderful drip glaze that seems to burst into colorful browns, yellows, cream and black. Incised on the underside with mold number "2148." Although it has no maker's mark, it is well documented in Haeger reference books.
