As described by Billy Blue Eye

Formed in 1872 near Zanesville, Ohio, Sam Weller had a dream to build "the largest pottery in the world" and achieved that goal in 1906. This 6" (D) x 5"(H) double handled stout vase comes from the 1935-39 "Floral" line and features an embossed stem of lavender flowers and leaves. The handles have been hand-painted to resemble twig stems. The vase is clearly bottom-incised "Weller Pottery F-2" marked with an "A", most likely the initial of the finisher.
