    As described by Q Antiques and Design

    American folding camp chair, circa 1870. Walnut frame with original hand-painted faux-grain finish, brass nails, turned finials and stretchers, and dark red floral carpet upholstery edged in black leather. Original green paper label of patent holder and manufacturer, E.W. Vaill of Worcester, MA on lower stretcher. Seat, 14"H; chair when folded, 8.75"H x 16"W x 34"H.
