As described by Nancy's Fancy Antiques

This beautiful R.J. Horner inlaid parquet table was made in 1880 or earlier in New York City. It has a great deal of inlay on the top and sides, including mother-of-pearl and wood flowers and flourishes and a large square of alternating light and dark wood. Four cabriole legs. This versatile piece could also be a writing table.
