As described by
Gorgeous midcentury French elocution poster for the school system, based on a painting. Scenes include berry, chestnut, and mushroom picking; an old lady carrying a bundle of twigs; a horse-drawn wagon full of lumber. Signed by Helene Poirie, famous illustrator of the 1950s. Numerous pinholes in corners. Small bits of margin missing, all outside of illustration so won't be seen when framed. V shaped tear in paper upper left corner, no missing paper. Small scuff 5" below squirrel.
