    Gil Blas was an important French periodical in the late 1890s. Some of the most important French artists of the day contributed work for its covers and pages, including this late-1890s lithograph. An illustration and lyrics for La Chanson des Bohémiens (The Bohemians' Song), with lyrics and music by Maurius Roig. Image measures 9.5"W x 12.5"H, mat measures 16"W x 20"H. Matted and ready to frame.
