About Marianne StikasAntiques/Design

I've been an artist and antiques dealer for the past 40 years. I moved to New York City in 1976 to join an art gallery. During those years I started collecting antiques and curious objects that had aesthetic value to me. After a while friends started begging to buy some of my "finds" and lo, a business began. My tastes run from the Classical to the "what is that?" 18th century to mid 20th c. Whatever it is, it is always the form that attracts me.
