As described by The Emporium Ltd.

Elegant circa 1920s Limoges French porcelain lidded sugar bowl created by the remarkable firm of Charles Ahrenfeldt. Beautiful Art Nouveau design executed in terracotta, green, and gold, with more gold on the lid, finial and handles. Lovely classic form. Marked in green "C.A. France Depose" with the company's mark and also "Ahrenfeldt Limoges pour R.H. Stearns Co. Boston." A charming piece of 85-year-old French porcelain.

    About the Seller

    The Emporium Ltd.
    The Emporium Ltd.

In 1985, a New York movie executive began buying antique English and French furniture, art, crystal and porcelain. Moving to Los Angeles, she added California pottery and Asian porcelain. The Emporium Ltd. was born out of that first collection. She still buys only what she would want in her own home. Her philosophy is simple: "Always buy a piece you love. You'll find a place for it. But if you didn't love it at full price, don't buy it on sale. It won't withstand the test of time."
