As described by The Montecito Collection

Reed Barton silverplate pedestal dish with rare brilliant blue glaze. The explosion of color that pervaded silverware in the 1960s was a reaction to 1950s Scandinavian enamelware. In 1961, Reed Barton came out with Color Glaze, an enamel-like translucent painted finish developed primarily by craftsman John Prip. Marked "Reed Barton 141." The original Reed Barton sticker is attached.
