As described by
Set of four glass plates with scalloped edges suitable for appetizers, salads, and desserts. Known by collectors as the Mount Pleasant pattern, made exclusively by L.E. Smith Co. in the early 1930s. At first glance these pieces appear to be black but are actually a deep purple that can be seen when held up to a very bright light. No maker's mark, but research identified manufacturer and pattern.
