Why We Love This

Hand-embroidered and appliquéd tea cloth made in the 1920s. The ground is slightly heavy but very supple linen with drawn edging. Soft yellow cotton appliqué fans with turquoise blue embroidery are worked in the four corners along with embroidered wreaths and bow knots.
