As described by
Set of six Rosenthal plates with hand-painted centers and overlay of filigree gilt on the borders. These plates were made for importers Ovington Brothers, NY/Chicago. The maker's mark on reverse indicates that these plates predate the 1920s, which is when "Bros" was removed from the company's labeling.
