Why We Love This

A great Victorian majolica pitcher made in England about 120 years ago. The ceramic body is molded as a barrel with brilliant glazes. Decorated with a faux bamboo handle, faux rivets, and a molded bouquet. The interior is glazed green. The exterior is glazed in bone, turquoise, brown, pink, and green.

About Antique & Art Exchange

San Francisco’s Antique & Art Exchange was founded in 1995 by Keith Dieterich and Howard Settle. The shop was an immediate success, promptly credited by design legend Tony Hail in a Town & Country article as having "practically nothing ugly." Today its clientele boasts heads of state, politicians, billionaires, writers, artists, celebs, dealers, and (naturally) designers, all of whom flock to the Design District showroom to shop for antiquities, modern pieces, and everything in between.
