Limited Edition #23/5000 Bernardaud Limoges Statue of Liberty handled cake plate. Made in France. The back reads "Part of the original Deed of Gift for the Statue of Liberty is reproduced on this plate. It was presented by Count Ferdinand De Lesseps, representing the Franco-American Union, to the Minister of the United States in Paris on July 4, 1884. The original Deed of Gift will be exhibited for the first time on Bedloe's Island on July 14, 1986."
